Baby, it's cold outside!

I know it's not Christmas any is just stuck.
But it has been very cold the past few weeks, which means a lot of staying inside. These are just some random pictures of us hanging out around the house the past few weeks.

Watching Dublin play outside

Rice cereal does a body good

I promise she eats more than spaghetti. She just looks so cute covered in sauce!

Watch me stir, Mommy!

11 months

Everleigh is 11 months old. Here's what she's up to:
  • She started crawling!!! She started crawling at 10 months and 1 week and it was like she never wasn't crawling. She immediately crawled across the floor and then did it again and again. She hasn't stopped since - and is SO fast!
  • Her latest way to crawl is now with her left foot up underneath her. That way when she gets to where she wants to pull up her foot is already underneath her. Smart girl! Already being efficient like your daddy.
  • She's been pulling up for a while, but now it's on everything she puts her hands on including a bare wall and it's constant.
  • She cruises on everything.
  • Since she was about 9 months old she has been putting her hands behind her head when she gets tired and is ready for her nap. It's the cutest thing in the world. (I just keep forgetting to write about it)
  • She has 1 1/2 teeth
  • She eats everything. You would think she had a mouthful of teeth. She doesn't eat baby food any more - all solids torn up into little pieces. She can be a little bit picky, but not too bad. She loves fruit and bread and shredded cheese. Not too crazy about veggies, but she does okay.
  • She was 20 lb 7 oz (54%) and 29 inches (62%) when I took her to work with me a few days before she turned 11 months.
  • She's talking a lot. Most of what she says is just babbling that sounds like her own little language, but she does say mama, addy, iddy (Piggy, her stuffed animal), bye-bye, and hi, but not all the time. She tries very hard to say whatever you are saying to her and usually gets the first syllable of it.
  • She's still wearing 12 month or 6-12 month clothes, but is growing out of most of them. I'm sad for her to wear 18 month clothes! She's getting so big!
  • She is not near as attached to me as she was. She still really wants me when she's sleepy, but she's doing a lot better about being with other people too.
  • She's still sleeping wonderfully. About 12 hours at night and 4 hours total in naps.
I know I say this a lot, but she really is the happiest, best baby. I know we would feel blessed even if she never stopped crying, but we do feel very blessed to have her in our lives. The next one will be 12 months (I refuse to say 1 year - hard to even type) and she'll be an official toddler. Everyone pray I don't cry too much at her party!
