Everleigh's pictures

Here's a few pictures of a sweet baby! Isn't she so cute!

Here are some recent pictures from our trip to the beach over Labor Day. I think Isabella, my sister's baby, is the cutest thing I've ever seen. She's hilarious and so much fun. Also in the pictures is my grandmother, Mom-mom. She's my mom's mom and has Alzheimer's. We don't get to see her very often, because she lives in Mobile. It was great to get to see her again and to get to spend time with my family.
In other news, Cody and I moved about 2 weeks ago and are still trying to unpack and get settled. We have an upstairs and a garage now and our very own mailbox - not just a little slot. And our dogs have a fenced yard. We're very excited to be in our new house. Cody has been working really hard and one of the things he's done is paint Everleigh's room. It's pink and will have big polka dots at the top when he's through. The dots aren't there yet, but I'll post pictures when they are.
We've also taken pictures of my stomach which is definitely growing now. I'll post those later when we get them off the camera. I'm over 5 months now and feeling well. I switched over to maternity pants even though most of them are still too big. They are just more comfortable.
Also, I start my new job next week. I passed my boards last week, so it's official - I'm a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner now!! Very exciting and a little scary too. Say a prayer for my first week please - and as always, for our baby.

Disney World and Pinning pictures

I've sort of already blogged about these things, but I just wanted to share some pictures of what we've done lately. We went to Disney World in July with my dad, Karen, grandmother (Mimi) and her friend Anabelle. It was so fun...and hot! But we had an amazing time and are so glad we went.
The other pictures are from my pinning ceremony, which was August 2nd. My family was all there too, but those pictures didn't turn out well and I haven't gotten my dad's yet. My dad, Christy, Isabella, Mimi, Aunt Kathy, Jim and Peggy all came up to celebrate with me. For graduation, Cody surprised me with a day at the spa with my sister, which was amazing! And then dinner at Stoney River, which is one of my favorite places. He made the whole weekend very special for me. Thanks, baby!! I'm so glad everyone who came got to come. It meant a lot to me to have the support of my family.
There are a ton of pictures here. I should update more frequently and maybe I wouldn't have to do it all at once!

Cody photoshopped these to make it look like Tinkerbell was in their hands
I LOVE this one of Mimi!

Everleigh

Our baby girl officially has a name!! Everleigh Lauren King.
Lauren is because I am named Lauren after my mom. She was Lauren Denise Owens and I am Lauren Kathleen (Owens) King. I have planned my whole life if I ever had a girl to continue on the tradition and I'm so glad we get to. I'm also so glad I have such a wonderful husband who supports this decision. We really went back on forth on several names for the first name, but Everleigh was my absolute favorite and it really stuck with me. It eventually grew on Cody and today he came home and surprised me with a present. It was a little bag with the name printed on cardstock paper in pink. It was so pretty and I was thrilled!! It is now on our fridge with all the other pictures of our little girl.
I am now almost 17 weeks pregnant and feeling a whole lot better than the first trimester. I still get nauseous every now and then, but nothing like before and it passes quickly. My pants are starting to get a little tight. I think maternity pants at least are right around the corner. I probably only have a few more weeks until I kiss them goodbye for a few months. I hope to fit back into them sometime! No real cravings right now, but the past few weeks have been marinara sauce. I don't really care what goes with it, as long as it has that sauce! This week I haven't cared so much, so maybe that's passing. We'll update with pictures whenever I start to really show - and when we get more ultrasound pictures, which will be in a few weeks.
