Look who's expecting!!
We went to a breastfeeding class Friday night and Cody put on the sympathy belly. You are looking at how long he kept it on. Not too sympathetic I guess...just kidding honey!

Happy New Year! Cody and I spent ours at the house and I think we were in bed by 9 or 930. Sad, I know. We've gotten old.
I am now 35 weeks and 1 day pregnant - not that I'm counting. We're very ready mentally for her to get here and I'm ready physically, but we still have some things left to do before she gets here. For example - we don't have any diapers! Or wipes. I think we may have 1 pack we got at a baby shower, but that's it. We would be making a run if she came early. I still have more to buy also to be completely ready and a few things to hang on the walls, but we're mostly done. I started getting uncomfortable about 2-3 weeks ago. I think working full time and driving almost an hour to and from work each day is really wearing on me. I'm exhausted when I get home. Luckily, I have an amazing husband who rubs my feet and back daily - that's right - daily. He's been wonderful through the whole thing.
Here are some pictures from New Year's weekend of us at ICE. My dad and Karen came up to visit and we had a lot of fun!

Merry Christmas!!
Here are a few pictures from our Christmas in Birmingham and in Cabot. The first picture is of me and my sister. She told the family at Christmas that she is pregnant with their second baby. She's about 8 weeks in this picture. Looks great against my gigantic 33 week belly, doesn't it!

My Mom
Today is the 2 year anniversary of when my mom passed away. I have thought about her and missed her every day she hasn't been here. It's been a lot harder being pregnant and not having her here. I have a ton of support from my family and from friends, which I am so grateful for, but there is nothing like having your mom. I wish she were here to help guide me in the right direction and help me be the kind of mother she was. I wish she was here to tell me stories about my sister and me when we were little and how we did things at different ages. I don't want to go on and on down this path, so I'll just stop there. It's not easy losing your mom and it's especially not easy when you are so young and have so much more life ahead of you to live without her. I'm blessed to have the love and support of my family and thank God for them every day. Cody said something to me a few months after my mom passed away that really stuck with me. I was really upset and missing my mom a lot one day and Cody just said, "You know you'll get to see her again one day. You just won't get to talk to her for a long time and that sucks." It's so true and that gives me a great deal of comfort. I will see her again in heaven. It's just this fleeting time here on Earth that I have to miss her.
Here are just a few of the many of my favorite pictures of her. I hope you like them.

Pumpkin Patch and My Ever-growing Belly!
We went with a group from our church to Walden Farms, a pumpkin patch this past weekend. We had a great time - and got some really cute pictures! Can't wait to carve our pumpkins!

I guess you could call this a sympathy belly? He looks so good pregnant - Maybe he should carry the baby!
